Vulcan #1

I will discuss the series name later. Vulcan refers to the Roman god (aka Vulcanus), not the planet orbiting 40 Eridani A.

This image consists of three layers. There is a blue/white background, with sparse gray and red layers on top. The top two layers are similar, but are unrelated to the first, background layer. Usually when I put down layers, I like to have something that relates the layers, Even if it is not obvious, it informs the selection and placement of the layers. That is not the case here. While the top two layers are variations on the same theme, the bottom in unrelated. And there is no logic for the relative placement of the layers. I just tried several things and picked the one I liked best.
