Here is a zoom into the hot spot a little left and below center in Sequence Fractals Part V #8. Yesterday's picture Sequence Fractals Part V #9 demonstrated that the cut-density varies from very sparse to sub-pixel, the latter resulting in colored sand.

As the saying goes, this is a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing is that you can find whatever density that suits your mood. The bad thing is it takes a lot of searching and discarded images before finding something good.
