This series complements the recent Lazy Nights series. A few lazy, blended shapes. This time on a lighter background, and more colorful shapes.

The rest of the series will play out without useless comments from me. (You can comment, I will reply.)

My plan was to end this series yesterday. I started a vacation before the series began, and had Wordpress set to publish a daily post while I was gone. I expected to be back with plenty of time to get a new series started. Some unplanned events kept us away much longer than expected.

So I am extending "Metallic Flow" for another week to buy time to prepare the next series. I am dusting off some pieces that did not make the cut the first time around. These were finished, or almost finished, then set aside because I felt they were either too similar to other pieces, or in some cases they strayed too far from the theme.

The next two simulate gold and silver plating on a rough surface.

This one was rescheduled to get Metallic Flow #7 out on Halloween.

This one and the next have a darker background and some dark red added to the palette. I think this one is spooky, it reminds me of a nightmare.

I altered the my planned schedule to publish this one on Halloween.

Initially most of this series had a lot of chaotic detail, such as in the previous post, Metallic Flow #4. I like a messy arrangement of many small details. I made several, and even though each was quite different from the others, they felt too similar. I cut a dozen completed images from the series for that reason.

This one and the next, similar to the first Metallic Flow #1, has much lower density.

I snuck in a few extra colors here.
