G<=>-R Zone
Here is another collection that arose from Strange Zone II. I had several images where I liked the shapes but not the colors. The colors were ok, but I felt that I had already overused that particular palette in the zone set. So I took the digital representation of the finished image and inverted the red color channel and swapped it with green. The cryptic title is meant to describe the color swap operation.
Last November I had a large collection planned for Strange Zone II. I decided that it was too large and broke it up into several smaller collections. I have been publishing those separated zones since then. Along the way I have been touching up the originals and creating new images to augment the break out collections. For this group, I plan to just publish the originals. (But I reserve the right to change my mind in the next week.)

I was working on additional pieces for the Busy Zone series but I was struggling with the color scheme for this one. The less busy areas along the top needed bright colors. When I was satisfied with the colors, I realized I had created a piece for Bright Zone instead of Busy Zone. There is no rule that says I cannot augment previous series.

This fits nicely with the Zones collection. Very busy holes leading to other dimensions, with small fragments scattered in-between.
In this case, during the publish step I discarded the original, and completely started over.

Waterfall perhaps? With rushing river below?
I planned this series at the end of last year. I had completed images for the whole series. The plan changes in the final perparations before publishing. I publish some images intact, some get minor touch ups, some have major rework, and some are completely new creations. This is a major rework. In the original I had the "waterfall" as a minor feature on the side. I enlarged it, centered it, and made it the main forcus.

I have posted something new here daily for almost a year now (since February 21, 2023). It is difficult to keep up that pace. Even now, when I am posting items that I prepared a couple of months ago, and skipping the descriptions. There are still some final touches to add, and the process of moving files to the web site and creating a nearly empty post. It still takes time. So I am going to relax a little bit, and set my sights on a couple of posts each week. That is a minimum. I expect there will be spurts of daily posts along the way.

Busy Zone
This series collects images I originally created for the Strange Zone II series. That collection was getting very large so I split it up. The works in this group are very busy. They tend to have a lot of fine details, with many haphazardly placed small shapes.
Bright Zone #20
As I am wrapping up the series, I am adding a few that did not make the initial cut. Here is another one with texture. Bright Zone #13 is the flat version.

This was the original for Bright Zone #2. I decided that it was too noisy, so I cropped the top middle-right and published and published that. Now that I have included a few other messy pieces, I am including this one as well.
