Setting the relative weights on how to blend is a design choice. The previous image is "equal" weight. Here the weight of the foreground layer is reduce by 50%. The result has a better balance.

I am not going to define "blend" or "50% over blending". There is a lot going on here. I do not have a simple dial to turn that goes from 0-100. Unquantified "less" and "more" is obvious. So this is "a somewhat lighter top layer that I am arbitrarily calling 50%".

Let's call this one 20% over blending.

Resuming posting. Continuing the same theme, with more palettes and more layer combinations. Here are two blue/gold/brown layers.

This one has more depth than Wavy Random Patterns #19, and I added a dark red/ light bule layer.

Today's image has a color scheme similar to the images Wavy Random Patterns #11 to Wavy Random Patterns #18. Here, the bottom layer has depth, the top layer is flat.

This image has four flat layers. The colors match layers on Wavy Random Patterns #23. The shape details in the layers are different between the two images. The main difference is making the layers flat.

Three layers. Another color combination that I like.
