Strange Architecture #1

Strange Architecture

Strange Architecture is a continuation of The View Near the Vortex. The first few pieces here were originally a part of the previous series. I pulled them out because they did not have the feeling of something being sucked into a vortex. The colorful sharp pieces are present, but they seem static. Or if not static, it is as if there is some design or intent in the motion. Some kind of strange architecture.

Rules for this series:
  • Many colorful, sharp shapes.
  • Less chaos than the previous series.
  • Design by a mad architect.

The previous images were removed from The View Near the Vortex to start this series. This piece and the next few I put together specifically for Strange Architecture.

Today's image was created while I was finishing up this series. It does not fit well with the rest of the series. Different colors, much less chaos, and corduroy patches. I thought about using this as a starting point for a new series. However, I have a plan in place for the next month or so of posts, and I am eager to get started on that. So it goes into the current series for now, perhaps it will become a "corduroy patches" series next year.

Strange Architecture #15

The next two were queue for the Strange Architecture series. Apparently they were forgotten. So, better late than never.
