It has been ten years since I last updated spyke.com. I know because the front page had a “last updated” field, and it was set to February 2002. I used to refresh the site several times a week. But then weeks went by, then months, then years. The more time went by, the harder it was to become motivated. The company hosting the site went out of business. My account was sold to another company that wanted to charge ridiculous  hosting fees. So I let the web site go dark. Last year I signed up with another hosting company.

Last week I posted this fractal on my facebook account. It is a very basic fractal, but the first one that I published in many years. And that provided enough incentive to fire up the ftp client and get spyke.com running again.
